This area of the business is all about making our customers happy. It incorporates our customer care, supply planning, transport and warehouse teams. Together, they are responsible for customer relationships and supply chain development, as well as aligning supply planning, account management, distribution schedules and customer expectations.
Our sales and operations planning team provides an interface between the commercial and operational sides of the business. They work hard to makes sure our great products reach our customers’ shelves on time, so our consumers are guaranteed their daily dose of pladis happiness.

Our award winning UK Distribution Centre is located in the Midlands and supports all our UK factories and our distribution to over 3,500 destinations in the UK, Ireland, Europe, and other parts of the world. We are committed to providing world-class customer service and minimising our environmental impact.
I started my career with pladis within the customer care team. I was drawn to the role as I was immediately able to be involved in a key project, looking at how pladis logistics would manage the 3PL part of KP Snacks. As a business studies graduate it allowed me to quickly put my studies to the test.
I’ve been really impressed by the desire at pladis to provide a world class service to all our customers, and the training and support they offer makes it possible to achieve this.
From my initial role I have since moved into three new roles; Collaboration Support Manager, Collaboration Manager and Export Team Manager. Each role has given me more responsibility and a real chance to learn. I’ve have been given the opportunity to work in the head office of two of the top four grocers, which has given me real insight into the end to end supply chain.
I’m now the Export Team manager at our Midlands Distribution Site. This is an extremely rewarding role as it allows me to lead a great team, develop them and influence the way we service our customers.
