Application process

To secure a place on our graduate programme, you must successfully complete all five stages of the application process. The process is designed to be simple but thorough so we can be sure we identify the candidates who most closely meet our requirements and provide the right ‘fit’ for our organisation.

The five stages of the application process are as follows:

  1. Online application form – reviewed against our Winning Traits & Behaviours
  2. Video interview – reviewed against our Winning Traits & Behaviours
  3. Numerical SHL test
  4. Inductive reasoning SHL test
  5. Assessment centre – a number of activities including a competency based interview, group exercises and an individual presentation

Your development

Our two year graduate programme is designed to support you. You will complete nine development modules designed to develop your business acumen, project management skills, presentation skills and leadership abilities.

You’ll be given real roles within pladis from day one. This will ensure you have a meaningful experience while adding value, right from the start.

In the second year of the programme you’ll be assigned a real, cross-functional business project with the chance to present your proposal to the leadership team – an opportunity not every employee gets.

You’ll be supported by a buddy to help you settle into life at pladis and a mentor provide you with guidance on your career progression.

What we look for

You’ve set your sights high, and so have we. To be considered for our graduate programme you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must have the right to live and work in the UK on an indefinite basis.
  • You must be a recent graduate (graduated in the past two years) or be due to graduate soon.
  • You must have a strong academic background, with a minimum of a 2:1 (60% or international equivalent) at degree level from a good university, and a minimum 260 – 300 UCAS points, depending on the programme. If you have a second degree, such as a Masters or PhD, this will be taken into consideration.
  • You must be able to demonstrate teamwork, drive for results and leadership potential.
  • You will need to be able to fluently communicate verbal and written English.
  • You must be flexible in terms of your working style and location.

To succeed you’ll need to be passionate, determined, ambitious and a fast learner.  You’ll have the communication skills to excite and inspire others and strong problem-solving skills to come up with better and more efficient ways of working.
